The 4 masterpieces of the medieval architecture: the cathedral, the baptistry, the campanile and the cemetery had a great influence on monumental art in Italy from the 11th to the 14th century. Piazza del Duomo, Pisa, Italy is one of the major tourist attractions in Italy.

One of the finest monuments in the world, Piazza del Duomo is 100 m in height. The construction of the Pisa cathedral began in 1063. The Carrara marble façade, with lovely registers of columns, set the pattern for the Romano-Pisan style which spread to the rest of Tuscany and beyond. Piazza dei Miracoli, with the cathedral and its campanile is also known as “The Leaning Tower”.

The Piazza del Duomo or the Cathedral Square includes the cathedral, the baptistery, and the bell tower or “The Leaning Tower”. The cathedral of Piazza del Duomo, Pisa, Italy is made up of a great white marble edifice in the Romanesque style. The richly decorated facade was added in the 12th century. The baptistery was completed in the year 1153, and is a circular building made in the Romanesque style crowned with a great dome.

The bell tower of Piazza del Duomo, Pisa, Italy is known as the Leaning Tower of Pisa, and is a popular tourist attraction, drawing large number of travelers every year. The construction of the bell tower began in 1174 and was completed by the 2nd half of the 14th century. Also known as Piazza dei Miracoli, the Piazza del Duomo in Pisa is a wide, walled area, located at the heart of the city of Pisa in Tuscany, Italy.
