Taj Mahal, India is regarded as the monument of love. It is the tomb built under Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal, located in Agra, India. The Taj Mahal, also referred as “Taj”, is considered as the finest creation of Mughal architecture. The construction resembles the style of Persian, Turkish, Indian, and Islamic architectural styles. In 1983, the Taj Mahal was declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and was cited as "the jewel of Muslim art in India and one of the universally admired masterpieces of the world's heritage."
While the white domed marble and tile burial chamber is most familiar, the Taj Mahal is an integrated symmetric composite of structures that was completed around 1648. Ustad Ahmad Lahauri is generally considered to be the main architect of the Taj.

Its stunning architectural beauty is beyond adjectives and superlatives, particularly at the dawn and while the sun goes down. The Taj seems to glow in the light of the full moon. On a foggy morning, the visitors experience the Taj as if suspended when viewed from across the Jamuna River.
